The ultimate VIP sailing day!Spend an amazing day sailing onboard a £5 million Oyster 82ft yacht. With state of the art technology and a unique mast, which changes colour depending on the angle you view it, she turns heads wherever she goes. The crew will take care of everything so all you and up to 12 guests need to do is relax and enjoy the fine wines and gourmet food. Alternatively, if you are looking for some action then take the helm and learn the ropes.
09.30 Guests are welcomed onboard at the chosen start location. Tea, Coffee and Danish Pastries are served and introductions made. 10.00The Captain will introduce you to the yacht and crew and then give a full briefing on safety matters and the itinerary for the day. The general plan will be to cruise around the Solent Area but this may change depending on the weather and your requirements. Once final safety checks have been made it is time to head off for the days sailing. The morning is normally spent cruising around the Solent area, taking the helm, checking out the high tech monitoring and chart systems and generally learning the ropes. Alternatively, just sit back chat and enjoying the ride. Refreshments will be served throughout the morning. Lunch is served onboard the yacht at anchor or alternatively, it can be taken at one of the many good Restaurants or Yacht Club facilities the Solent has to offer. 14.00Time to set sail again for an afternoon of relaxation or, help the crew and perfect the tacking and gybing you practiced in the morning. Afternoon tea is served as we return home. 17.30Bare Necessities arrives back in port and guests begin to make their way home. DRESS RECOMMENDATIONS We suggest that guests wear layers of warm comfortable clothing and soft soled shoes. (No black soles please). The sun can be very strong on the water so don’t forget sunglasses and suntan lotion. We do provide guests with waterproofs for use on the day but a change of clothes is recommended – just in case!
